Proiectus.cat
Proyectus.cat was an innovative project in collaboration with the municipality that established a unique social network platform. This platform allowed companies to submit requests for projects they needed to undertake, such as creating websites, while schools and students had the opportunity to carry out those projects, providing them with hands-on experience that closely mirrored the real-world work environment.
For students, this meant engaging in real projects, giving them the chance to apply their skills in real-world situations. On the other hand, companies benefited by obtaining projects with free or reduced-cost labor. This synergy between the educational and business sectors not only enriched the students' education but also provided companies with the opportunity to carry out projects efficiently and affordably.
In addition to its web-based features, Proyectus.cat boasted a robust desktop application crafted using Java. This application was specifically tailored for administrators, providing them with an intuitive interface to delve into the intricacies of the platform. Through this desktop version, administrators could efficiently review and manage the database, ensuring seamless coordination between the submitted project requests, student involvement, and the needs of participating companies.
